BUDGET HEARING

Just a reminder the Budget Hearing for 2025-26 will be held tonight at 6:30 in the firehall meeting room.

The approved budget will be posted HERE following the official adoption by the board.

Three Rivers Foundation Awards Grant

Thanks to our great grant writer, board member Tara Johnson, we were recently awarded $7500 to purchase a much needed new pump. The awards event was attended by board members Tara Johnson and Mark Stoller.

Firewood Raffle

We are currently running a raffle for one cord of firewood. Fire volunteers have been helping to clear the area where the Office of Emergency Management Grant supply containers will be cited. So we decided to raise some money for the department with the mixed firewood.

Only 50 tickets will be sold, at a cost of $10 each.

The drawing will take place when all 50 tickets are sold.

2024-25 Budget Committee Notice

NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Dora-Sitkum Rural Fire Protection District, Coos County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026 will be held in the multipurpose room of the Dora Center, 56127 Goldbrick Road. The meeting will take place on the 1st day of May, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. A copy of the budget document may be inspected on the Dora Center bulletin board or obtained at the Dora Public Library on or after May 2nd. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.
